Caliber brakes
Ok, I have an 08 dodge caliber, has never had any brake issues. Well today I hit a small patch of ice and my ABS system started doing its thing. For some reason the ABS stopped pushing against my pedal like mid-slide and now my brake pedal slowly goes to the floor. My reservoir is full of fluid and I can't find any leaks. The brakes work like normal when you first hit the pedal and gradually goes to the floor. Any suggestions?

I have heard of similar symptoms relating to a faulty abs module, or the valves associated with it.
It could also be as simple as a bit of air in the system. |

It should hold pressure even with a bad booster. I would check the rear brakes to make sure the wheel cylinders are not leaking if you have rear drum brakes.
