Caliber brakes

Ok, I have an 08 dodge caliber, has never had any brake issues. Well today I hit a small patch of ice and my ABS system started doing its thing. For some reason the ABS stopped pushing against my pedal like mid-slide and now my brake pedal slowly goes to the floor. My reservoir is full of fluid and I can't find any leaks. The brakes work like normal when you first hit the pedal and gradually goes to the floor. Any suggestions?

I have heard of similar symptoms relating to a faulty abs module, or the valves associated with it.

It could also be as simple as a bit of air in the system.

so my question would be then, how would the air have entered the system without opening it? Can the abs module bring air in? Also I do not have any abs lights or any trouble codes

even with a loss of vacuum, I'm pretty sure the pedal would still hold pressure wouldn't it? it would just stop like you have manual brakes

It should hold pressure even with a bad booster. I would check the rear brakes to make sure the wheel cylinders are not leaking if you have rear drum brakes.
