I have a 2008 Caliber and the transmission overheats in hot weather and in hilly roads. I need to pull over after the dash warniig light appears and the engine looses power. It's fine in cold weather. How do I fix the problem?
Are you the original owner of your Caliber. Reason asking if so your car is covered by a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty and should be able to be fixed by dealership at no cost to you. I just had mine in for some issues, part of mine was under the warranty and the other part I had to pay for. Mine is a 2008 Dodge Caliber SXT, and I only have 71,900 miles on the engine and transmission. She is fixed now and running like new again.
