Aaaaaaaaah man, that sucks! Thank God that no one was hurt! How long have you had the car for? Anyway, I bet you'll be looking both ways before entering an intersection again, huh?

Have had the car for two weeks.... 1100 miles... I wasn't driving, better half was.. she said she looked and there was a car ahead of her in the intersection making a turn onto the main road... the old lady threaded the needle between them.. missing the other car and hitting ours... what luck huh?

That's an interesting view behind that bumper cover. Looks like part of the A/C?

My wife saw that and said the same thing about is that NOS,

I told her yea, he has the only 10 second in the 1/4 mile Caliber in the world, and on his last run, the heat build up from re-entering the atmosphere caused the bumper to melt and fall off.

That's a real bummer Bill [:'(]
I'd say it's part of the A/C system. Here's one of his pics lightened up some for a better peek at the apparent lack of front sub-structure. Must be one strong piece of steel across the nose.

I think I'm gonna be sick! But on the other hand, it is quite amazing that the whole front end isn't all bashed in! So is the Caliber half damaged, or half perfect? I'll be an optimist on this one. Good Luck to ya!
