New user. Was just doing my elderly neighbor a favor and doing a transmission fluid change on her 2008 Dodge Caravan....I'm a Harley Motorcycle mechanic, so am mechanically enabled and Google is my friend...however, upon draining the fluid (REALLY dark), and pulling the filter...the filter RATTLED......So, I shook, Rattled and rolled and these plastic GEAR parts were INSIDE the old filter...yes, they are plastic....any idea what they are or where they come from?? I looked at a Master rebuild kit for the trans, and these parts are NOT in the photos or listed....a little lost here....if anyone could shed some light, I would appreciate it.....what are they and where did they come from?
