1987 Caravan - High Idle problem
I have an 1987 Caravan, 3.0 Automatic
When I start it in the morning, it starts ok.
Then as soon as I shift it into drive, the idle kicks up to about 3,000 rpm.
Stays that way for a while, seems like after sitting at idle, going up and down from like 1,000 to 3,000 rpm back and forth, after about 25-30 minutes after the motor heats up it suddenly goes back to normal and does not rev.
I have replaced the AIS and TPS, but, neither changed it.
I've gone over all vacuum lines, etc. and don't see anything out of place.
Anyone have this problem before or have any idea what to look for?
