Default 95 Grand Caravan Gauge Issue

I have a 1995 Grand Caravan SE. The gauges(speedo, tach, oil press, volt meter, temp) only work in the start position. In the run position the gauges go out, and the "Check Gauges" light comes on. After starting, I can activate the gauges by slightly turning the key towards the start position without ingaging the starter. When I do this, the radio goes out. Seems a relay of some sort is faulty. I've replaced the key switch, and the starter relay. The dash is completely disassembled. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

How about the ignition switch? I do know the key lock assy was a problem way back when.

Tried 2 different switches. One from a junk yard, and one brand new one. Same results with both. It seems to me that part of the system properly shuts down during the start cycle, and the rest of the system is backwards, in that it activates during the start cycle, and goes out in the run mode.

Does key cylinder mechanism feel loose? If the ignition switch is good, then it could the mechanism itself.

Changed entire module. Checked all lead connectors, everything nice and tight, no arc spots, or bad crimps. I was told that perhaps the BCM had a bad relay, but I don't have the capability to test

No . The wiring harness plugs into a modular ignition unit. I disassembled the original, cleaned it up, and had no change.
