2008 Caravan with electric sliding slide doors. One door gets about 95% of the way closed and then opens back up. After multiple tries or with a little nudge it will close. Is there a sensitivity adjustment?

 

there is an update flash for this, take it to the dealer they will flash it.

 

there is a recall on the electric doors too bad wiring can cause fires

 

Does the recall or flash go back to 03? In cold weather my electric doors won't open or close on their own. And since they didn't incorporate a clutch, the doors are difficult to open and close manually.

 

no 08 is as far back as it goes

 

We had similar issues with door closures on our 2006 Grand Caravan. It was out of warranty and required a new wiring harness as the other one fell victim to the know wiring issue (yet wasn't covered under a recall).

Now our other door is acting up too, but still no recall for a 2006 aged vehicle...
