2006 Dodge Caravan ABS light always on

I have a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan (Sto-n-go). A few months ago, while changing lanes, my right rear turn signal light went out and at the exact same time, my ABS and TRAC OFF lights came on. These two problems may be totally unrelated - I've already replaced the turn light - any thoughts on possible fixes for the ABS light? (both lights are now constantly on)....

without accessing the ABS computer and data stream it's a total guess as to what is causing the problem.

anytime ABS is malfunctioning, the traction control also is disabled since ABS system is what controls traction.

thanks - any way of accessing the codes or ABS computer? is there something I can buy to read it?

you need a real scanner not a wal-mart code reader.

This is the first time I've replied to one of these websites. I couldn't believe that I was reading in your post exactly what happened to my 2006 Grand Caravan-----right rear tail light went out and then ABS (and trac off) light came on and has remained on since.

I've had MANY problems with my van and am soon bringing it in for a problem with my fuel tank--van stalls almost immediately after each fill-up.

Wiring diagram shows 25 amp fuse #21 controls power to the ABS controller.

Scanners capable of reading ABS codes can cost $200 and up.

There is a valve (name??) in the fuel tank that keeps fuel from backing up into the EVAP system as you fill the tank. Only way to fix it is to change the fuel tank. resolution

I ended up taking my Van to the dealer. The issue was exactly what I suspected - an ABS sensor. Once replaced, the issue with the ABS system was resolved.
