Default 1996 Grand Caravan SE Washer fluid pump issue

*1997 not 1996*

Hey everyone,

First time poster long time lurker here.

I have a problem with my washer fluid pump, I also have a BCM code showing up P1698 - No CCD messages from BCM/PCM according to the haynes OBD2 code book I have. My instrument cluster had gone out and came back on the next day twice.

Looking around the fourm I've seen the cluster issue and wiper issues linked to the BCM but not the washer pump.

Im just wondering could all this be connected to bad BCM?

I'm going to test to see if the pump is getting power but thought id post this incase anyone has any insight into this.

Also my ABS light is on but im not too concerned about that right now as that could be a sensor or any one of a number of things. (but possibly related?)

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Welcome to DF
You could have a bad washer pump. Remove the connector and with a 12 volt test light and have someone push the washer on the handle. Do you have power. If yes, replace the pump.
