Default rear wiper tension

Hello, Hopefully someone here can help me. We own a 2007 Gr.Caravan. The rear wiper is not compltely cleaning the glass. I have replaced the blade and this has not helped. The arm does not appear to be bent. I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the tension. If not, how difficult is it to replace the arm itself. I am assuming the hatch panel from the inside gets removed and than the arm is easily replaced? Any help/advise is greatly appreciated.

The arm probably needs the pivot lubricated. You can remove the arm externally nothing special about this arm's attachement. Identical attachment system to a lot of other wiper arms over the past 60+years.

Thank you ! Now the dumb question, how do I remove the arm? I don't see a clip or set screww, is this just press fit? If yes, should I just wrap a rag around it to prevent scratching and than pull off with channel lock plier?
I do appreciate the advise.

If it was my vehicle, I'd pop off the plastic cover cap where the arm attaches to the shaft to access the retaining nut, then I'd use a socket of appropriate size to remove fastener located under cover. But I'm just guessing, IDK how your van is put together

Thank you Dodge22. The van is so dirty that I had not even seen the plastic cap. I will give this a shot.

I was totally guessing. There's 2 common ways that wiper arms are held on. I figured I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right. I don't have one of these vans but I figured my dad's 1999 was the other method so I guessed the other.

Good Luck. Let me know how it works out. Mine was so bad that the wiper was unuseable. Now , while not sweeping 100% is only missing a small spot, I would say 98% effective. I think that in time it will improve as it seemed to have been stuck.
