'08 Dodge Grand Caravan tranny whine
I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT with the six speed tranny. Current miles are 44,500. Tranny was replaced under warranty, complete tranny, at 32,000 miles.
Now there is a distinct "whine" in the tranny in 4th and 5th gear, not in 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 6th.
Any ideas on what may be wrong? With just 12,000 miles on this tranny that was dealer installed nothing should be wrong. Serviced regularly by dealer according to manual.
Does this sound like another rebuild? Any thoughts would be appreciated before I take it back to the Dodge dealer.

This TSB is for the 2010, But it does cover the problems you are hearing. Do you have the lifetime powertrain warranty? If you do,then I would call the customer service center and raise hell if the dealer will not help you. 1-800-992-1997.
