96 Grand Caravan Upstream 02 Sensor Removal ?
Ok maybe this topic has been beat to death, but
Went to replace my 02 sensor on the exhaust manifold. 3.8 V-6 Auto
Holy Moly it seems like it's frozen
Removed the windshield wiper motor assembly to get better access.
Tried to reomove with the 02 sensor socket NO GO
Tried a 22mm deep socket NO GO
What are my options???
Should i remove the upper intake manifold to get better access to it?
Try a 22mm extractor? ( could only find a short one NOT a deep socket extractor )

heat is your friend.
99% exhaust work requires it.
you try when engine was hot?
even a plumbers torch will help (heat the snot out of the bung then use ur 02 socket to wrench it out)
use neversieze on the new one to help removal next time
if your unconfident with the flame try this sleazy trick:
get engine nice n hot
place a cold wet rag on the 02 sensor only (dont cool manifold)
this expansion of manifold and contraction of sensor could break the sieze free
have seen em crossthreaded right from factory (hope thats not your case, although they do sell a tap to restore the threads if thats your issue)
99% exhaust work requires it.

I'll try everything i see i'm going to have to take off the intake manifold to get better access.
