Body Control Module (BCM) -- Where is it? [PHOTO]

With my 2002 Dodge Caravan FUEL GAUGE permanently fixed on Empty even after inspecting the LDP air filter hose, performing a quick test on the Fuel Pump connector, and running a quick self diagnostic via the TRIP button. I also cycled the ignition ON-OFF to look for any DTC codes -- none.

Now I'm wondering if the Body Control Module (BCM) could help me. From the diagrams it has a connection with the Fuel Level Sensor. I'm wondering if i can perform a test to make sure there is a clean wire connection from the BCM to the Fuel Pump Connector AND if there is any code the BCM is trying to tell me.

If the above is an acceptable test in your eyes then where the heck is the BCM located. I am inside the cabin, driver's side, next to the parking brake pedal. Here are some photos:

Where is the BCM located in the photo and do i go to PartSource or NAPA to have them attach a DRBIII unit into it to have the BCM report any problems? I'm assuming the BCM report is different from DTC codes obtained via the ignition key ON-OFF cycling.

Thanks a lot.

Not at all sure but remove the grey side kick panel on the left side. Yes, the BCM codes are termed "body codes" and look like UXXXX. A DRBIII will read them but I believe only dealerships have DRBIII scanners. Might be wrong.

REMOVAL
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the lower instrument panel silencer.
Remove the knee blocker and reinforcement.
Disconnect the five wire connectors from the bottom of the Body Control Module (BCM).
Move bulkhead wiring aside.
Remove the screws holding the BCM to the bulkhead.
Remove the BCM from the mounting bracket.

The last 3 pictures, it is the gray module straight back, has 5 openings for connectors but may only have 4 connectors plugged in.

Hey Tizzy. I was referencing a TSB on an 01 when I said side kick panel. That box gets moved around more than Sarah Palin on a bus tour.
