Flooding and bad mileage
Hey Everyone, I have a 2001 Grand Caravan Sport with a 3.3 engine. I replaced the egr last spring because one of the pins corroded off. I just recently had a 401 code come up so I took the tube going to the intake off and it was plugged. I cleaned it and reinstalled it. Now on cold starts it wants to flood and I'm getting terrible mileage. Any suggestions?

How much have you driven it since you did that?

It could, when something gets f-ed up, the system learns to addapt. Then when you fix it, it still is set up for running the other way so if you can't reset it, it has to learn and it will slowly get itself centered again.

Thanks for working with me on this. I'll see what happens. The exhaust smells terrible as well. I disconnected the battery for about an hour hoping it will speed the reset.
