2005 Caravan driver door electronics issue
 

Hey guys.
I've got an 05 Caravan that has developed some issues with the switches on the drivers door.
It's a former government fleet vehicle with very few options. No keyless entry, etc...

So here's the issue.

The doors will unlock when pressing up on the lock switch, but will not lock when you press down on the switch. The passenger side switch works fine.

Okay... bad switch, right? Here's where it gets strange. If I press up on the window switch, it will operate the window, but if the windows is already all the way up, and I press up on the window switch, the doors lock. Both the passenger and driver's window switch on the driver's door do this.

Also if I rapidly hit the unlock switch, the doors will unlock a few times and eventually lock by pressing up on the unlock witch.

Where do I start?

I am guessing a problem with wires in the drivers door. Or in the harness between the door and the a-pillar.
