Changing tire and wheel size.

Changing tire and wheel size.
I just have a quick question. I searched for an answer but found nothing even close. Again, my 1998 Caravan has 14" OE wheels. I obtained a Grand Caravan 1996 that is equipped with 16" wheels and tires. Can I install the 16" wheels and tire on the 1998 with 14"?? The 1996 tires are only about 1 year old and are a fairly aggressive good quality tire. My '98 has tires my Dad put on over the last three years and no two are the same brand and only similar tread patterns.
Any suggestions? Thanks In Advance.

So long as the backspacing is the same and the bolt pattern you should be able to, the only thing is you may have to go with a lower profile tire to clear the front springs. Usually 65 series tires are on 16 inch rims, you may have to go with 60 series depending on your clearance.
Hope this helps

Going from a 14" to a 16" is going to mess with your speedo, you will have to adjust the tire profile and width. I've used this site in the past, it also tells you the approximate difference in your speedo also.
