Default 3.0 caravan camshaft

I am trying to decide whether or not to change the rear camshaft seal. The crankshaft seal appears to be leaking when I took it apart. I guess my question is if the cranshaft is leaking will it kick oil up to the camshaft? How do I tell if it's leaking.

I need to know if I decide to change it how do I hold the cam to keep it from moving? I tried to use a strap around it but if the camshaft moves just a little it jumps down a quarter of a turn and I have to move it back to the timing mark.

The book says that I need to move the alternator bracket is that correct?

I know I have a lot of questions, sorry to be long winded.

I have one last question. if the camshaft rotates one turn back to the timing mark is it still in time? It's a V6?

The front cam seal is up by the belt. If they look like they are leaking, replace them. I haven't seen a crank seal spray up that far. And as long as the marks are aligned, you are good.
