Hello,I hope someone here can give me some advise.I got a 2003 Caravan that just started acting funny.
It seems to run fine when idling but when I am driving it acts like it is missing or something. Almost like when your car starts running out of gas.And it does not do this all the time either.
But what really worries me is this popping or knocking sound I hear when I accelerate.If I just gently accelerate it doesn't do it.But driving normally it does.

Now when I get up to speed,say 55mph or so and level off it runs fine again.

My first thought was I had got some bad gas,been driving it under a quarter tank of gas for awhile.Meaning I have not put over $10 in gas in it.

Also of note,when checking the fluids I noticed it was a quart low on oil.

In a tight financial spot right now and no way can afford a mechanic.
