Hey guys,my sister and brother-in-law just bought a 2000 Caravan from her father-in-law.
It has 50,000 miles and she tells me it is like new.
Some time ago I was talking to a transmission tech who told me about a mod that came out to make these trans more reliable.Something about a larger fluid line..or larger orifice??

I need to find out what this mod is so I can let my sis know about it.

Also is there a better fluid to run in this trans?

Now let me tell you about my '96 3 spd Caravans trans.
The guy I got it from had the trans rebuilt,then deepened the fluid pan by an inch.He installed a trans cooler and to top it off he added an in-line oil filter which is a humongous thing for a diesel trunk I think!
