2013 Grand Caravan Crew w/ Misaligned Parkview Camera

Engineering has specifically asked for certain information. Only two people have provided a VIN. Apparently few dealers have actually filed a warranty claim.
We're being proactive and trying to look at something before a lot of warranty claims are filed and you are not happy. Feel free to call a buddy that still works at CTC and get them to drop everything and look at something with not much data.
End of subject for me.

Lee: If that is who you are, You really show some class.... A typical response from the warranty people. How many years have you worked for Chrysler?
If you read some of the posts .. the dealer calls the Factory/Warranty Specialist and they tell him it normal, so how is the dealer suppose to file a warranty claim. No warranty claims ... No problems ... Maybe you ought to do some research, go out and look at a few GC and some Jeeps with backup cameras, and not expect someone else to give you all the answers.
Do you wonder why the CUSTOMER get so upset with Chrysler?.
Sorry, I can not post my opinion on how you are handling this, as I would get banned.
For all the other members with a tilted/off centered camera, go to a parking lot and see just accurate you camera is...

Regarding the rear view picture on the Dodge web site. They should have had a disclamer stating that the photo was a simulation lol. Cause Im sure it was. Also Gabby I understand that your pretty
upset but I appreciate what Dodge Care does on this site. He has helped a lot of people and even though you feel wronged by the dealership who I personally cant stand everytime I visit them...
you come across as the bad guy which you are not. Dont direct you anger at him.

The reason why the camera appears tilted or crooked is because the camera is not mounted in the center of the hatch. More on the drivers side. The camera is purposely pointed towards the centerline of the car. Therefore showing a little more of the passenger side bumper compared to the driver side. If the camera was mounted in the center it would look straight.

Ran across this screenshot from Dodge's website for the current model Grand Caravan Parkview and it's jacked up in the screenshot just like the others, so that must be the norm now? Now it's easy to say "Hey bud, that's just how it's supposed to look!" I'm sure they could care less, since the GC dies in 2016 anyway, but still embarrassing if you ask me:

A year later and still not fixed
Sadly it's been a year and dodge still does not care. They refuse to fix the camera. I just hope the $79 they are saving on refusal to repair is worth it because after being dedicated dodge owners the hubby and I are looking at Ford. I would still like to get the camera fixed so i can actually use it while we shop for the new car.

5 years later....
I eventually gave up with this.
The final straw was when I went to the dealer and argued with the service techs about the camera being crooked and said "Tell me how somebody at Dodge purposefully designed this camera to be crooked? It makes no sense, there's something wrong"
The tech said "You must be an engineer or something? This is like Star Trek kind of stuff!"
I then realized I was more intelligent then anybody at that dealership and was livid and walked out.
For what it's worth I was in an accident in the 2014 GC and bought a 2016 GC brand new and the camera was crooked at the dealership when I bought it. After Dodge updated their screenshots on the site to include the crooked camera and I stopped caring because I was realized Dodge knew what was going on or they just have the most ignorant engineers.
Almost like Dodge stopped caring with these jacked up cameras!
