Default 2004 Grand Caravan Lights Head and Tail

Issue #1: The tail lights stopped working. Bulbs are good. Tail lights do not come on when vehicle Transmission is shifted to reverse.

Issue #2: Head light switch does not turn lights ON/OFF. The lights come on automatically and the warning bell starts as soon as the driver door is opened. This is the same warning bell that sounds if you leave your keys in the ignition or leave your headlights on after turning off the engine and opening your door. The fuses are all good. When the engine is running the lights are always on. The lights do automatically turn off, however, around 2 minutes after exiting the vehicle. Also, if you enter the vehicle and do not start it, the lights will automatically turn off after a minute or two. Is it likely that the switch needs replaced? Ideas?

Replace the headlight switch in the dash board $10-$15 at the salvage yard. Take your time removing it, because it may be a little tricky. Practice on the salvage cars first
