Code 139 Oxygen sensor

I have a 2002 with a 3.8 V6. I have a code 139 bank 1 sensor 2. Is this the downstream one, and where is it located? I trtied to search for it on the forum but it did not come up. Thanks for any help.....Doug

yes, downsteam.

The downstream heated oxygen sensor threads into the outlet pipe at the rear of the catalytic convertor
