See pictures. Does anyone know what would cause this or how to fix this??

 

Does all the wheels look like this too? I would check with tire shop and ask them if can be repaired.

 

yes, they all look sorta like this. I just bought this vehicle and didn't really notice this till after I bought it. I don't understand what caused this. Apparently the stock SXT alloy wheels are painted and clear coat I think, even though they are alloy. It looks like the paint that is about the same color as the metal came off and the bare alloy started to dull with a film of corrosion. The black stuff is brake dust I think.

 

aaluminum does corrode and that's how it looks. mine are in the logo area.

 

I can't seem to find any info on if there is a clear coat (or paint) on the wheels or how to fix this on the cheap.
