2009 Caravan Remote Start won't work
 

I have a 2009 Grand Caravan SXT with the factory remote start system. I had problems with it before and changed the hood sensor so it knew the hood was closed, so that's not it now. I have recently changed the van battery, maybe that reset something? I do use two aftermarket key fobs(programmed by the dealer), but they work great on everything but the remote start. The original fob only works occasionally on the remote start. Is there a sync problem going on? I have done a lot of searching and can't find much on this issue. Appreciate any tips!
