wheel paint bubbling

2011 Dodge GC MainStreet.
I have two wheels where the paint is starting to bubble around the hub. Dealer looked at it, took a picture, then left a voice mail that Chrysler said its not covered.

So I guess I need to remove what is loose and apply some touch up. Anyone have product suggestions? I'd like to make them look as good as new.

its going to get worse. mine 17" are like that. its oxidation from the aluminum.

I reasoned that perhaps the wheel balancer scratched the paint and that caused this to happen.

I guess I'll remove what is loose and find some touch up - see if that stops any further issues.

Had hope that someone could point me to good matching touch up paint.

It's corroding from under the paint. All aluminum wheels do this eventually.

Best bet is to strip it and totally refinish it, which is a ton of work, but on the plus is a good time to change wheel color if you've ever wanted to. Doing it this way would require stripping it to bare. Etch priming it. Laying a good base coat and laying a good clear. (I prefer Lacquer for wheels seeings it dries harder and is harder to chip)

Spotting it or doing touch up is going to be more noticeable then just leaving it.
