Help finfing fuse to door locks
not sure if its the switch or fuse. Can't find location of fuse book is useless can any one show me where it is Thanks

What is your problem with the locks, I don't believe there is a lock fuse, power for the actuators is supplied by the body control module.

not sure what I did but I took all the 20 amp fuses out and replaced them now locks work found no blown fuses ?

If the problem reoccurs try pulling the IOD fuse for 2 to 3 minutes, the IOD fuse powers the BCM (Body Control Module) and removing it will reset the BCM. This can "fix" a multitude of electrical glitches and is always the first thing I try when electrical "gremlins" appear on my van. P.S. You should add a "Signature" on the Forum with your vehicle information including engine size. It helps everyone know what you have, making it easier for others to assist you. (go to User CP, then "Edit Signature") George |
yep, there is a software update to repair that condition.

Yep, all you did was reset the BCM. They will stop working again..in a day, a week or a month.
Sometimes the software update will fix it, sometimes not. |
