2000 Grand Caravan Won't crank
 

Starter relay won't energize, I can hot wire it. Replace ignition switch for good measure No luck

Getting voltage at contact 86 at the relay socket with key at start? Proves the ignition switch is good. Also proves the relay coil is getting power but needs a ground. Pop the relay up just enough to ground contact 85 then turn the key to start. If it cranks you proved the PCM isn't applying a ground to the relay coil. That could be because the TRS in the transmission isn't sensing "Park", the VTSS is out to lunch or the PCM is bad. I'm assuming you've already swapped the starter relay.

What engine size to you have? If its a 2.4, check the fuse for the ASD relay. If the fuse is blown. Replace the starter and then the fuse.
