I was moving vehicles around I backed the Durango out of driveway (went in reverse normally) shut it off to go move two other vehicles and when I got back in the Durango put it in reverse there was nothing there tried putting selector in between to see if it was linkage but still nothing shut it off started it back up and you can almost feel it try to go in reverse but it won’t all forward gears are fine kinda strange never had this happen instantly and I own 4 other Durango’s

My 62TE shudders if I put it in reverse without giving it about 1/2 second pause before hitting the gas again. That slight pause results in 0 shudder. Not happy, but glad to know, after reading other's posts that the dealer is not being deceptive.

Default Dodge Journey downshift issues

I'm having an issue that's driving me crazy ....when I come to a full stop I feel like the transmission only downshift to second gear but when it does go to first gear it makes a hard kick.... Is my transmission going bad or does it needs service??? BTW sometimes when I apply reverse and hit the gas right away it takes 2/3 seconds to apply.

Any advice???

Not sure which my 2019 Caravan is but it shudders in R when backing up an incline like a driveway etc. R is only a single gear and shouldn't be driven more then 25mph.

Is that also applicable for 62TE. I just bought a 2016 town and country and i feel the shudder on reverse for 1 second and then goes away.

2012 Caravan, seems to compression brake all the time down to about 12mph. not sure why an eco-mode transmission would compression brake when off the gas? Seems it would just decouple or freewheel like my old 904. I told Carmax about it before I took delivery and they said they would flash the PCM to its latest update as the salesperson noticed it as I pointed it out while test driving it. It did not change anything. Still a noticeable compression braking when you lift your foot in traffic. Normal? and it has a big time shudder in reverse backing up my driveway. They spent hundreds of millions of dollars developing these automatic transmissions and they let these out the door with this reverse shudder, an admitted design function?

Another shudder victim here. Mine only shudders when shifting around the 2000 rpm area. Mostly when it goes into 5th or 6th. I've dumped in two different brand anti shudder juice into it and no affect. Wish it was easier to check the trans oil. I found a video on youtube that showed how to measure on oil dipstick and check with that and the fluid levels seems to be correct. Does it sound like the torque converter is dying? thanks in advance.
