Default Replace Rear AC Condenser

Ok I have had the fantastic news that the rear AC Condenser is leaking by an AC tech. I am going to replace it myself . Can anyone lead me through this as to where to start.

I just watched a video today about doing this job. It's on the South Main Auto YouTube channel -

Doesn't look too bad. I've got a leak on my A/C that I couldn't find even with dye so I'm betting it's the rear evaporator (the condenser is the one in front of the radiator). The question is, do I go to the trouble to fix it, or just keep putting $15 of R134a in it each year.

eventually you won't have a choice. The more it corrodes, the more it leaks. Soon it won't hold for a day.

I was watching the South Main Auto video thinking great, I need to replace the blower motor and/or motor resistor for the rear, and this would show me how. Then I saw that there really is no way to replace it without bleeding the freon. I was really hoping the motor replacement would be an easy job.

They come out the back side of the housing but if you remove the two bolts retaining the housing you can lean it out enough to remove them without disconnecting any lines.

OK, thanks. I'll give it a shot. I'm looking at either the motor or the resistor (or both). Right now the fan sometimes does not come on. You have to bang the panel to get it to work. Not every time, just sometimes.
