ESP/ BAS and traction control lights keeping me from shifting
My wife's 2009 SXT 3.8 will occasionally keep her from shifting out of park. I thought she was nuts but it has also happened to me. When you start it up and the indicator lamps go out, if the ESP/BAS and traction control light is still lit, you cannot shift out of park. You can turn it off and restart it and most of the time it works but sometimes that takes 3-4 cycles before it works. Other than an occasional time when both sets of lights come on while driving, there are no other issues. The ABS and traction control both work, I have personally tested both on rainy roads. There are no codes stored. And like normal, when I finally have up and took it to the dealership, it never happened to them. I haven't replaced any parts either. Happen to anyone else?
