My 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan has developed an unusual problem with the factory installed sound system. The radio will cutout intermittently then suddenly come back on then cutout again and come back on after an arbitrary period of time. I have tried changing to the CD player when this happens and the CD will play for 2-3 seconds then cutout for 1 second. The time interval for this mishap is very consistent as it continued for over 45 minutes straight. The turntable for the CD continues during these episodes because while singing along with the CD it will come back on at the correct time in the song. No crackles or pops indicating there might be a loose connection. Any ideas as to where to start with a diagnosis?
