convert 12V rear outlet to full time power "on"
I have 2001 Caravan with the rear power 12V outlets. These are tied to the key switch, but the manual states that they can easily be converted to be powered directly from the batter, but "see dealer". Has anyone covertered these? I think it requires replacing a relay (tied to the ignition) with just a jumper or fuse from the dealer. Just wondering?
I'm tryhing to keep the portable electronics running when stopping for fuel, etc. Thanks, Jeff |

In the underhood fuse box you will see on the inside of the lid I believe a picture of a battery and a key. It corresponds to a large fuse on the fuse box. All you have to do is move the fuse over one position and that is all. Since it said see dealer in your manual, where would you like me to send the bill for $43 that the dealer would have charged? :)
