Seat belt issue Driver's side
 

I have a 2016 Grand Caravan, Model Crew. Issue seat belt Drivers side, it is shorter than passengers side. And frankly it is troublesome to get it on due to shortage. Any ideas, was it a recall or what can I do to correct the situation? Thank you in advance for any help.

Since the seat belts come from a parts supplier they are all made to the same specs could be there's something wrong with the mechanism. You can go to different site to check for recalls by VIN number to see what recall if any pertains to your van. The solution is you don't want to fool around with anything that has to do with life and safety equipment just get another seatbelt from your local scrapyard and change it out.

I bought a latch extender, cost $50.00 CDN. Now at least I can get the seat belt over far enough to buckle up. Prior to this did a measure on both driver's side and pass side. The pass side when fully extended, reaches about 3- 4 inches past the Navi screen, where the drivers side just barely reaches the right side of the Navi screen.
