Help please, 89' Caravan won't start
 

Hi, my old 89' 4 banger turbo won't start any more. Just refused one day. No spark. Distributor looks fine. There is no voltage on either terminal on the coil. I suspect there is some kind of ignition module but I can't locate it, not familiar with these motors completely. Can anyone suggest where else to look? My suspicion is that whaterver controls pulse on the coil has given up the gost. Any suggestions GREATLY appreciated.

Can you hear the fuel pump cycle when the key is turned on? I'm trying to remember, but there s a series of relays on the driver side under the hood against the fender wall. There is a starter relay toward the back and afuel pump relay. I seem to remember an interaction here that if there was no fuel, no spark signal was sent to the coil. Another possibility is a fusible link may have blown in the harness. I'm basing this on my experiences with my 2.5l of that era. Let me know if it is a 2.2 or 2.6, not that it should make too much difference in diagnosing.
