Fastest stock Hellcat runs 10.9sec 1/4-mile in magazine!
 

Guess what trap speed it went .. .. .. NOT 126, NOT EVEN 130 MPH. The automatic Challenger Hellcat completed the 402.34m (1/4-mile) dash in 10.9 seconds at 131 miles per hour! The average automatic Hellcat Challenger does low-12s at about 120 mph, with its best runs in American magazine instrumented tests being quicker than 11.7 seconds in no way. REMEMBER, THIS IS ALL ON STOCK TIRES.

My British friend, Ian Eveleigh, showed me an instrumented test from the very upcoming March 2016 issue of EVO, showing how the Hellcat beat Lamborghini's all-wheel-drive Huracán LP610-4. He already reminded me that the details aren't complete because the March 2016 issue magazines are not yet released or for sale.

EVO reveals that the Hellcat, using its "auto" transmission, is actually faster than the Huracán. Heck, it beats most Corvette Z06s, Porsche Carrera GTs and Ferrari 458s. But the Hellcat is one pure sonofabigbangforbuck!

This test actually dates back to October 2015, but it's gonna a very darn while for the testers from EVO to publish the issue as it's been proven that the fastest stock Hellcat, known as "Fatt-Cat," already even beats that Hura from 20 mph.

Yes, they are wicked fast..

If you want to pull an injector, pull the fuel pump fuse first, then crank the engine over to bleed the pressure down. You'll still drain fuel from the fuel rail but it won't be under pressure.
