Kitten in engine compartment

I am trying to save a kitten. It hides under my 2018 challenger. She goes on the plastic panel bolted under the engine. She climbs up near the left front wheel. I saw her there, and then she climbed up higher. Question, what can she get to from there? Would it be save to start it, to scare her out, if that is where she is?

Don't start it. She may get tangled up in moving parts..... That would suck, both for you, and for her. Honk the horn. That should get her attention. Maybe bribe her with some meat. :)

Call animal control.

Put a cage trap out with some food in it. It will trap her without harming her. Then either adopt it and take it inside or take it to an animal shelter. My choice would be to adopt her. BUT DON'T START YOUR CAR UP WITH HER IN THE ENGINE BAY!!!!!

Down side to that is most animal shelters will change you for taking it. That's why so many people just leave animals. I'm sure by now this was taken care of so how about an update.
