SRT 392 engine wining
That lines up with a failing water pump. When the bearing inside the pump starts to go, it makes a whining or grinding noise that follows engine speed, and pulling the serpentine belt removes the load so the noise disappears. On a 2018 SRT 392, the pump is belt-driven, so it’s a common culprit. I’d replace it sooner rather than later—if the bearing fully fails, it can leak or seize and throw the belt. While you’re in there, it’s smart to inspect or replace the belt and tensioner too.
