18" Charger RT wheels vs 300C All wheel drive wheels
 

I have a 2009 Charger RT RWD, and want to mount snow tires ona set of 2007 Chrysler 300C all wheel drive wheels that I have. Guess the offset is different but no one seems to know if there will be a problem putting these wheels on my Dodge.
I know that the bolt pattern matches, but am concerned as to weather there may be clearances issues. I hate to buy the tires and have them mounted only to find that they won't fit properly.

Trying to recall off memory...

The AWD tires (Should be stamped on the rim) are 55mm offset. The standard 18"rim is 18mm. You'll likely have an issue with clearance on the front end upper control arm. You would need at least a 1" spacer, possibly a little more. That maybe a little to much stress with a 1" + spacer, IMO.

I'm not sure if the tire would rub in the rear or not, it would depend on the tire size. It would probably be close as well, and likely need a little spacer assistants for proper clearance on the inner wheel well.

I checked them and they are stamped with the size and 55 so they are for an all wheel drive vehicle. I was hoping that possibly these would fit on my RWD, where as, the standard wheels wouldn't fit on an all wheel drive. The hub to hub distance must be different on the all wheel car.

Since the Charger, 300 and Challenger are all on the same chassis, they should fit fine.

Agreed they'll bolt up, the hubs are all the same, but the offset being 55mm will have the AWD rims sitting inward closer to the struts/control arm.

I myself had to mount 3mm spacers for the Magnum SRT rims on my Charger. Without them they would rub too, and that offset was only a few mm difference. In addition to running the 3mm spacers I also cut down the tire width from 255/45/20 to 245/45/20 to make up the difference. Even now the tire will very slightly rub when cutting the wheel as tight as possible, I've noticed rub marks on the control arm when dismounting the rims. This is only a total of 6 or 7mm difference offset with the SRT rims rather then 55mm on AWD rims.
