Default 2008 turn signal problem

left turn signal flashes very fast. Right signal ok.
I have found that with car off, ignition turned on signal flashes normal. Start car and signal still normal. Put car in drive and signal flashes very fast. Dealer wants $350. 00 to fix. Sounds like a lot.

What did they say is wrong with it?
flashing fast is usually the a bad Light Bulb, does the turn signal itself work? front and back? Any Aftermarket LED light installed?

Trophy,

What did they say was the cause? I would replace left side turn signal bulbs on front and back before I spent $350.
