Default Fuel pump question.

Have a gauge that mis reads. Will be half way and then will drop real fast.
3.5l 2010 charger

Is this the left or right pump that needs to be replace?

Do both sides. The left is the pump with a sending unit, the right is a sending unit only with transfer tubes integral, but that's the side that the fuel is forced out of. It's a saddlebag type tank.

FYI, it COULD very well be your cluster. Typically Police package clusters have this very issue.
