My dodge charger shakes then shuts off?
 

I own an '06 Dodge Charger w/ about 211k miles on it. Bought it 3 and a half-ish years ago and I've had this problem a year after I got it. It will start shaking when I start to slow down and when I come to a complete stop, rough idling then steering wheel gets stiff and you can't move the car anymore. I have to fully turn it off then on again for it to start working but it will do it again every time I slow down to stop. Also likes to jerk when I begin accelerate and feels as if I were going over a super bumpy road. I get this code alot P2096 and my mechanic says I need to change my catalytic converter, but he's done it TWICE and the issue still continues. No one seems to know what is wrong with my car.

That's not a cat problem, the bank one is running lean. So, either low fuel pressure, clogged injectors, bad O2 sensor, or something similar. Unplug the front O2 sensor, see if it drives any better.

Mine has says I’m running lean as well….any help??
