Default 1959 Stromberg WW trouble!

Thanks Moe - and anyone else who would like to chime in. O.k., here's where I'm at: Yesterday I took the truck for a short ride, and after stopping for about 15 minutes went to start it again, and it spit gas all over the manifold - not sure where it's coming from cuz the carb was covered in gas. Eventually got it started, and when I got home and shut down, noticed the gas was boiling in the float bowl (used stethoscope). If I put a thicker spacer under the throttle body, getting it away from the manifold a bit more, would that help lower the float bowl temp?
Anyone have a NOS Stromberg WW with manual choke for sale?

THANKS FOR THE HELP!!!

ill guess the needle and seat has dirt on it. or the float is bad. it just needs a good old overhaul. .

Thanks again Moe - I've "rebuilt" it three times, but I guess I'm just not doing the right thing. Off to the overhauler...
