Default 63dodger 2 bbl carb replacement

Newbie here and was wondering if anybody replaced an old 2 bbl carb off a 63 Dodge custom 880. 63 was the first year they offered a 383 as far as I could figure out and that's what I have. My carb is a Stromberg model WWC which is the one for a 383. I was interested in changing this carb out for a newer more reliable one that would fit my manifold. I love my 63 but the carb is driving me crazy, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a nice aluminum 4 BBl intake and a holley carb. Something you may not know is your 383 don't have hardened valve seats in the heads. Using today's gas will cause the valve to wear into the head. You may want to consider getting hardened valve seats or swap the heads.
