Default i'm trying to install a 440 w/ 727

66 coronet replacing 318 with 440 and 727, I got the hard motor mounts on line but they don't seem to be long enough my chassis mount holes are 14.5 inches apart on the chassis , the mounting hole for lower rubber mount is 1 inch lower than the 318 mounts but the spread is still about 1.5 inches to wide to fit properly mu question is there an even longer hard mount , it seems that if it were longer and the rubber mount hole was 1-2 in. lower that my chassis holes would line up. Any help out there would be helpful , Thanks

One this is the Ram section and posting in the correct section would help you, but luckily I can help you. What did the 440 motor mounts come out of?

Moderator should move this, Does the 440 have the motor mount brackets? You cant use the ones on the 318 they are to short.
