I'm going to put a couple magnet ones on top of my truck then for the cb guess you could fabricate something to fit in your center console, depends on how much you use it. Or that setup lilfroger put up looks nice. either way you could do it. If you got ahold of a smaller cb radio you could and was good with plastic and such you could modify the front of your center counsel set up and cut out that piece of plastic for the plastic pocket that i loose reciepts and change in and put it in there then make yourself a cover for it and make it look nice. depends on how much time/money/DIY you want to put into it.

Lilf,

If you want to mount your antenna in the back of the bed, you can run the coax through the rear cab vents.

Pull out the back seat (drivers side is easier)
Remove the fiber panel.
Run the cable through the rear vent on the back wall (the cable will come out about half way between the top and bottom of the bed.

It only took me about 15-20 minutes to remove everything and get to the back panel.

I did this when I mounted my radio in the truck and I think I have some pictures in my gallery but I never took one of the vent.

Right now my antenna is mounted to the back corner of the truck bed and it works really well.

I just wasn't sure how many other people still ran Cb's too. On my old ram I had it attached to the bed like in your picture frogger, but I just installed a new Extang RT Tonneau on this truck. (pic comin), I don't want to use a magnetic mount becuase I personally think they look cheesy. I still have my 5 foot barjan fiberglass from my last truck and cannot find a place to put it. I will eventually have a headache rack and that is eventually where the antenna will go, but for now????

Tommygunz, maybe something like this: http://www.walcottcb.com/product_inf...roducts_id=309

I used one under a tonneau, fits in the stake hole and extends just over the side of the bed still allowing the cover to fit and seal.

Hmm, getting close to a solution. That last one was very good and may work ina pinch for my upcoming road trip. You'll see my conundrum when I post pics of my tonneau. It is a very sleek low profile between the bedrails tonneau. So that particular mount would almost look eye-sorish....
