Default Hard shifting

My 2002 w/3.9 is shifting hard especialy during harder excellerating. fluid is good and clean,and at proper levels. also sometimes shifts seem a little delayed. any help thankyou.

I have the same problem, I was told you can update your software for better shift times.... Havent tried it...

i have an 01 3.9 auto. I think mine shifts to soon. How would you update your software to change it. Dealer, aftermarket programmer?

There are some flash update for the jtec controllers. But they need to be stock. You can also adjust your throttle cable/ kick down, That make you sooner or delay. You make the adjustments at the throttle body.
