My son stalled at stop sign yesterday and truck would not start. Battery has been ruled out. When you turn key you hear one click and then the dashboard lights flash three times. Headlights will turn off *** soon as you turn ignition. Ignition seems off, When you turn completely the vehicle appears to be out of gear. Before that point the P is highlighted. Battery connection seems good. Truck wont take a jump. Has anyone experienced this? Do you have a solution?

 

Unfortunately, problem has been diagnosed. Seized engine caused by oil pump failure. Does anyone have a 3.9 engine for sale that will be compatible with 2003 Dakota? I am located in Connecticut
