Well. I figured out my issue. A bad ignition coil. The actual coil was good. It was the boot that goes down to the plug. Seems these commonly develop pin holes that allow the spark to arc onto the motor casing. You can tell real quick by looking at each boot and looking very closely for a little white ring around the pin hole caused by the arcing. Anyways, it was under warranty but I couldn’t be bothered with dropping it off for service. 45 bucks later and about 10 minutes time and it was fixed! Bosch is the Orem supplier btw. Don’t use anything but a Bosch replacement if this happens to you.
