Auto Shift Not Working - HELP!
2013 Dodge Dart Turbo Dual Dry Clutch - Was driving on interstate and car went into Neutral with message "Auto Shift Not Working". I tried to manually shift and new message "Gear not working". Coasted to side of road, put it in park and shut the engine off. After a couple minutes it started up and I could go through the gears, but the check engine light was on. Went by AutoZone and they ran their error check machine and the computer said "No messages". The mgr asked me when I last changed the key battery. Said sometimes there is a communication error between the key and the engine (anti-theft feature?). New Key battery and still check engine light is on. It is New Years Eve and no one is open with appt until the 2nd week of January. I only have 1 car and I am the only income in my household as my husband is disabled. I need help!
