Default Has anyone cut the A/c bracket

I am looking to lessen the amount of time needed to change out timing belt and water pump. I want to remove those 3 bolt holes in the front of the engine. I assume the 4 bolt hold the bracket to the engine is more than enough.

really, the amount of time you'd waste butchering this, you'd have the job done right twice. I had highschool kids doing waterpumps on these 3.0's in 2hrs no short cuts or hacking allowed. their first on took 6 hrs, 2nd 4hrs 3rd (lebaron convert) 2hrs flat got that job done.

I've seen like 93 dodge dusters with the same 2.2 that have no a/c from factory so keep an eye out for one.

There are lots of brackets that are over engineered. as if they want to keep the accs on in a 150 mph roll over and into a wall . . .
